Musician Andrew Lefferts

Hailing from Oxford, Massachusetts, Andrew Lefferts is a recent graduate of Ithaca
College, earning a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance and is now studying at Boston
Conservatory for a Master’s in Piano Performance. Beginning his musical journey at the
Pakachoag Music School of Greater Worcester, Andrew’s dedication led him to win the
High School Piano Division at the Worcester Schubertiade Classical Idol Competition.
Since then, he has worked as a rehearsal pianist for Greater Worcester Opera, and
between school, he’s been playing for local churches like the United Congregational
Church of Worcester and the First Congregational Church in Shrewsbury.
During his time at school, he collaborated with vocalists, taught piano, played with
chamber and symphony ensembles, and briefly studied harpsichord and organ. After
getting a Bachelor’s, he served as the interim Music Director for the First
Congregational Church in Shrewsbury, conducting, performing, and rehearsing with the
choir while he prepared for graduate program applications. In his free time, he likes
coding, board games, composing, and cooking.
