A Stewardship Message from Reverend Joelle
Beloved First Congregational Family,
As we enter this season of reflection and gratitude, I am reminded of the profound blessing this church community brings into the lives of the town of Princeton and beyond.
When I first walked into the office in 2023, this church was in a time of profound transition anchored by a dedicated group of folks who simply believed in the importance of this historic home of faith. An exquisitely stubborn group of faithful members who did not wish to turn out the lights (despite essentially being encouraged to do so by the regional conference of the UCC) took a chance on a new model of “being church.”
Every Sunday, we have a wonderful array of guest preachers who share their unique voices and visions of the gospel and guest musicians who share their talents and ministry of song. This sacred space we share is more than a building; it is a place of hope, faith, and love—a place where we gather to grow spiritually and support one another as we journey through the ups and downs of this life.
With Love & Blessings,
Rev. Joelle
